Jubilee of Religious Life - Portugal Region
“To You Lord, I lift up my hands”
On July 23, 2022, the Jubilee of 25, 50 and 75 years of religious life of some Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady was celebrated.
By solemnly renewing their YES, they witness that God is the absolute of their lives and that following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, in the manner of Francis of Assisi, constitutes the only and necessary good.
In the Eucharist, we place all the sisters spread throughout the world, so that they continue to be builders of Unity and Communion, wherever they are.
The Jubilees Sisters publicly renewed their YES, manifesting once again that they accept to live exclusively for God, committing themselves to follow Jesus Christ, living in a covenant of love expressed by the evangelical counsels of obedience, poverty and chastity, lived in fraternal community.
To the sound of the hymn Veni, Sponsa Christi the sisters renewed their consecration to the God of Love.
